The Neon Museum | PhotoDiary

On February 14th, I had the opportunity to visit a place of my dreams, very bold dreams may I add. I went to The Neon Museum in Warsaw, which, if You know me, is my definition of perfection as I have indescribable love for all kinds of neons and signs.

Me to You: anxiety, depression, PTSD

Anxiety is not exaggerating. Depression is not having a bad day. PTSD is not a thing to get over with. None of them is a curse. They all are reality, each of them is an illness. Not a sore throat kind, a cancer kind - each of them eats You alive if You can even call this life.

Sweet treat | PhotoDiary

Today let’s discuss one of my favourite topics - desserts (You bet there will be a sequel to this one hah)! Ever since I could remember, food was a form of attraction to me, every country I’ve ever been to had it’s own cuisine, whatever the mood I was in, I had a specific ‘taste bud’ desire. It was just a matter of time when I evetually started taking photos of bits and pieces of my meals. I believe that ones in a while You just have to indulge and follow the cravings. And all of the sweet tooth that I have usually ends up with me dreaming about something quite like this...

I wish I knew: cartilage piercing

Today let’s talk one of my latest and greatest ideas - getting a cartilage piercing. If You follow me on Instagram You most luckily know that a few months back I got my auricle piercing. Auricle piercing is basically a piercing of an outer ear cartilage at the middle height of one’s ear. Simple. But maybe not. Let’s start from the beginning.

Colourblock-ing | PhotoDiary

For last couple of months I’ve had this weird obsession concerning monocoloured or texturized walls. I suppose the idea behind searching for such somewhat minimalistic yet colourful object originated from my late admiration of all the tones appearing around us.

I fell for the deatils in urban architecture and simpy cannot stop seeking the most unique examples of it. Colour in general has always been one of my preffered ways to express certain things in art as well as in everyday, because of that I am strongly attracted to single pigmented everything, basically.

So far, I have a few representatives of certain colours and textures, are You ready?

Colourblocking | Blue. One of the primary colours. Couldn’t be happier on this not-so-blue Wednesday.

50 facts about me

Now, that we are officially friends, I feel like we should get to know each other a bit more! Here are 50 random facts about me ;)

I wish I knew: period.

Today I would like to share with You my own story behind one of the biggest tabboos in our world - period.

To begin with I want to mention a wonderful person, a YouTuber and an influencer Ingrid who made a vlog speaking all about, well, our vaginas, ways people treat periods and how we as women come across as those who ‘need to’ deal with menstruation in silence. Here is the link to her vlog which inspired me to talk about my own story https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fXQJb0W-Tg

Infinity is imagination

Hello there,

if You stumbled upon this little post You probably wonder what the heck is happening up here, well let me explain.
After years of trying to find a place where I could write about anything and everything, where I could just let my thoughts fly freely I finally decided on this so called 'blog'. To be fair I have no idea what I'm doing and how I am about to make this work, but I guess as long as I find it enjoyable, it's going to be alright! Right? Right!
I invite You all to join me on this journey through my life and all the weird stuff on the way! And who knows, maybe You will find here something for You as well!

xoxo, Ala
