Let's talk Chanel and to be specific let's talk Chanel Longwear Nail Colour no. 504 Organdi.
A few months back Chanel had a reformulation of their nail varnishes and created the longwear range also known as 'the gel range'. Although I personally never experienced too much of chipping with the nail varnishes from Chanel, as soon as I heard of the new formulae I made a mental note to try the range as soon as they would hit my Sephora... and they just did! So far I have 2 of the colours because, to be fair, there is not a single shade in the range of 15 I wouldn't wear. I plan on buying a couple more but apparently I am not the only one who fell in love with the range because when I came to my favourite Sephora (one of the biggest in the area ) literally there were 7 bottles of various shades left.
I decided to start with the most gorgeous mauve pinkish nude no. 504 Organdi which turned out to be opaque in only two coats. Although, I still usually go with three very thin layers, two would be perfectly fine! Also, as thin as I make my layers they were not streaky at all and dried within seconds. I always use a base coat and a top coat and this time I made no exception and as I painted my nail 5 days ago they are still going strong with no chipping or rubbing off on the edges.
I have to admit, I am blown away by both the colour range and the quality of the polishes, I can't lie, I personally am waiting for the restock of the polishes at my Sephora and I would highly recommend You to check out Yours too!
