Those are the three adjectives which, to me, describe Aviators. We all know them and most of us love them, actually I've never met a person who would not like one the most recognizable sunglasses style from Ray Ban or who would not look good in them.
As quick-to-change the fashion is nowadays and as fabulous and extravagant some of the designs of sunglasses are, I, personally, have a special place in my heart for all of the classics. I am one of those people, who believe that as magical as one's collection of accessories may be and as various the designs of glasses one can choose from, there are some fashion pieces that define culture we live in.
Ray Ban's Aviator sunglasses are a piece of art to me, art of making beautiful things useful and stylish, art of simply making the wearer's life better. Ever since I can remember, I have always dreamt of a pair, a pair perfect for me. You see, I find finding the right size of sunglasses or glasses in general quite a challenge for me. As comfortable I feel in most of the shapes of the frames, they usually are just a bit too 'wide' / 'narrow' / 'big' / 'small' / 'high' / 'low' etc. You get the idea. So when it came to purchasing one of the most iconic and dream-come-true glasses, I wanted to find the perfect ones! And so it began... I spent last 3 years trying on all sorts of sizes, colours and finishes of the Aviators. As last year I got a puppy, I learnt quite a lot along the way, also not to leave sunglasses near the teething pup, needles to say, this year was the year I decided to finally invest and get the glasses which would be 'the' pair and last week I found 'the ones'.
Aviator Large Metal II Green Classic G-15 with the lens size 62, the biggest ones on the market. I fell head over heels for the gold framed pilots with the most desirable lenses in color green. I got them suited for my head's width and I have to say, they are the most comfortable thing ever! I wear them every single day with everything, they are perfect for covering my whole face when I'm walking the dog in the morning, just as when I need to look, basically, on fleet and spotlessly serious. They so far are the best sunglass purchase I have ever settled on and I highly recommend trying the Ray Ban Aviators for yourself if You are in the market for some new shades!
